"The Wackness is a coming of age story about sex, drugs, music and what it takes to be a man. NYC in the summer of 1994. Girls were fly, the music was dope, the heat was on and Luke (Josh Peck) was just trying to deal."
If
you haven't seen The Wackness, go rent/buy/download it now—NOW. The soundtrack alone is worth the money with some of the best joints of that year including The World is Yours by Nas and Bump N' Grind by a pre-indicted R. Kelly, not to mention some older non-hip hop sounds such as All the Young Dudes by Mott the Hoople (which was written by Bowie).
OH! Olivia Thirlby, a favorite of ours here at LAFS, features as Peck's love interest in this BILDUNGSROMAN.
