Relatively old news but TIM BURTON is directing an adaption of Lewis Carroll's legendary Alice in Wonderland. The dark, twisted Burton spin on Carroll's incredible fantasy should make for a visually stunning film. He's also done a near perfect job casting the movie. While Dakota Fanning may seem like the obvious choice for Alice Tim has found a slightly more ominous pick with newcomer Mia Wasikowska (quite a name). What would a Tim Burton movie be without Johnny Depp who's playing the Mad Hatter. Alan Rickman is playing the Caterpillar (I think Penn from Penn and Teller would be a better pick) , and Michael Sheen (Go see Frost/Nixon if you haven't already) is playing the Cheshire Cat. Matt Lucas is playing Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb. Here are some pictures... can't wait for this one.

how was frost/nixon? i was going to go see it but i decided to see slumdog and wait for netflix.
