alright well they have bombarded us with stuff this last weekend i am just pooped today.
i started classes today and even though i may think otherwise i am still so jet lagged.
i wake up fine but around 4:30 or so it hits me hard and i cannot help but fall asleep.
i was going to try so hard today to not nap so i could fall asleep at a reasonable hour tonight.
nope. passed out. ha. i dont care i have had a great day. well. i haven't done much. classes were alright. italian was great because everything i had learned the other semester finally started coming back and i am able to make conversation on the street much better. i went to look for a bike today. but forgot that around lunchtime here places close sporadically and you never know when a place will open or close. it will be different everyday and hardly any places have hours posted. oh well just something i will have to get used to. although i have gotten nothing done that i meant to do, i have had a great day. it poured today. lightning thunder and everything. i have loved skype and aim today



...... okay after that sentence i had this huge paragraph, or several explaining everything in the set of pictures i am about to post and just everything i did this weekend. how i felt, what i saw, my experiences and what not. well i wrote that all, and then saved this post and was going to add the photos later. well i am adding the photos right now and accidentally deleted all of that and then this gay thing decided to automatically save it so, here is like a fraction of that for explanation.....

first shots are from Fiesole, a town outside of florence with a nice museum as well as some ancient roman and etruscan ruins.

second are from Sienna, gorgeous town with a beautifull cathedral that i attended mass at. great experience and i also got an incredible sandwich, played with some dogs, some kids, played on a playground, envied someones bike, got lost, etc.

third are from san gimignano another city about an hour outside florence known for its white wine and also frozen in time.

i had previously went into insane detail about this whole trip but like i said it got deleted and just dont feel like retyping it i am sorry. :-)
