its been a crazy 24 hrs. saw a japanese bunraku puppet show last night. that was a trip. so incredibly ornate and complicated than it seems. so many eliments go into a show its insane. even though its in japanese wen you tie in the chanter and the intruments as well as the details of the puppets actions the story is fairly easy to follow. it was the first time in 20 years that this type of show was performed in the US.

great movie. typical wes anderson. but great stuff. i highly reccomend it. In particular, the scene where they attended a village boy's funeral was somewhat emotional (just because of the whole story with their dad's funeral). Even if the plot is comepletely looked over, it is still very visually pleasing. Each scene is a little game of trying to soak in all the little, witty details that anderson puts in there. Like the repition of the three morning-"pajama" outfits.
